I watched the full video it was an entire police unit vs one soldier. Danab are too professional and disciplined (from what I've heard) to be these ciyaal backasii.

Because he is a member of a special police unit hence his unique uniform. one thing that is for sure though is that he is not danab. The rank on his collar is also that of the police.

Assault rifles are the standard armament for police and military in Somalia including Somaliland. Only commanding officers are the only ones who don't carry rifles
