He's right about the work ethics. Worked on projects around SS Africa and usually found that Africans don't really care about their jobs (that includes Somalis).

The Gulf Arabs are just as bad imo.

Well, it makes sense that Japan and China have a stronger work ethic than Africans and Somalis. They have only ever known stronghanded center governments that moblised the whole popluation to work for them, changing the culture and vaules for the society to work more effectively. Somalia needs a cultural enlightenment.
