They trashed it bad though, calling that scrawny cadaan kid the Mahdi, the whole spitting on the floor as a form of greeting, the whole thing was embarrassing

It's pretty good compared to that train wreck from the 80s lol. I hate how they changed the word Jihad to crusade/war.

Yeah, it was decent. Bit slow paced without much real action spectacle and the characters are a bit dry but the world building, score and overall look are on-point and you can't argue with the cast.

it was an 'okay' movie, nothing special, with the budget they had it should've been much better
