Djibouti had independence since 1977 and zero wars apart from the brief Afar uprising in the 90s yet the capital doesn't have drainage system? war @Kingcobra what is going on ileen meesha wa meel lagu dhintay.

It rarely rains so they don't see it as a priority. The Gov is ok with going through it once or twice a year. Should've been proper drainage in place by now

It costs more to have a drainage system for a country that experiences torrential rain less than once a year on average

Countries that barely get any rain don't really have a proper drainage system. Djibouti the isn't only country where the roads flood badly after heavy rain

They did and it's why they fought so hard to stay there. Don't think they invested much in subsaharan Africa tho. Algerians were racially "superior" to us negros lol
Plus the fact its climate was very well suited for its settlers whereas subsaharan Africa was not. Trust me you guys got lucky not having heavy French presence. The Italians had an apartheid system going on in Xamar :mjlol:
