What went wrong for the Somali community there? Gang violence among Somali youth is pretty much non-existent in neighbouring Finland but Sweden seems to have a higher homicide rate than even the UK despite only having a population of 10m. You even got some immigrant youth joining Swedish democrats coz they are fed up with all the violence they have to live through. Somalis and these new Middle Eastern arrivals are fucking up big time over there.

It might be due to the fact that Somalis are mostly concentrated in the capital / suburbs of Stockholm where the main focus is. Rinkeby located in the suburbs of Stockholm is widely known as a no-go zone and it's pretty much a Somali city. Another reason might be that a lot of these rappers that are involved in the lifestyle and genereate views are almost all Somali. YasinDaDon is considered the biggest rapper in Sweden and is Somali.

In my opinion if they have laws where they can detain gang members, take the gangs assets ,catch 15 yr old and younger who are in gangs and have maximum penalty for shootings things would change
