I want ti become a nurse, theres a couple of school I’ve been eyeing up. The field is dominated with women and i don't know if patients will hate seeing a male nurse take care of them. Any somali girls that are nurses or becoming nurse give me any advice ? Thank you

I’ve seen a few Somali male nurses at this one hospital in the UK. Its not ceeb. You should pursue it if you want. It doesn’t pay well here though. Idk where you live maybe it pays well in America

Pays good. The only male somali nurse I know only did it for a few years and is currently in nurse practitioner school.

Nurse practitioners making 100k+ on average. They work alongside doctors and handle their own patients. Majority of the time I've gone to an ER I've interacted with an NP instead of an actual DR.

I'm honestly surprised we don't have more somali niggas in this field. I know most of us study CS and engineering majors but not every farax has success in those fields.

In the states you can be making 60-70k during your first year as a nurse. A decent amount of nurses are earning more 80k+ after 5 years of working. Nurse supervisors making at least 90k+
