Being the first chairman does not equal founder, HA always had history of looking up to MJ since Abdirashid Sharmarke gave some power to the north. Now explain why the flag looks like both?
Can you explain why you took the name Punt (which was in Western SL & Jabuuti) and follow SL's lead in every policy decision we made?We founded SSDF and gave it to you, we gave you the instruction manual on how to build a state from scratch (SL 91 and PL 94).

Let's face it, you are Somaliland's jealous little brother :mjlaugh:

These niggas can deny all they want but a Habar Awal founded their group. It failed the moment it went to MJ leadership :chrisfreshhah:

Punt is disputed
Our results reveal a high likelihood match with eastern Somalia and the Eritrea-Ethiopia corridor, suggesting that this region was the source of Papio hamadryas exported to Ancient Egypt.
We founded SSDF and gave it to you
no you didn’t
The SSDF was a weak movement

US source:
“The SSDF is the second largest political faction in Somalia”

Your source says it was weak because the members were leaving

You don't own Punt and you certainly didn't found SSDF. SSDF was primarily an MJ group which needed a figurehead and they found one. Punt itself is most likely in Eritrea but could stretch to Hafun however the name is irrevocably associated with Puntland. It's not Puntland's fault that you have bad marketing.

Somaliland's current flag was inspired by the SNM flag.

The similarity between the current SL flag and the mahra sultanate flag is just a coincidence. Just like the similarity between Somalia's flag and the bonnie blue flag is a coincidence.

It was founded by AY :kanyehmm:

when will you landers learn the difference between chairman and founder?View attachment 128320View attachment 128317

SSDF was a conglomerate of factions that came together in 1981. The first opposition to Afwayne was SODAF, founded in 1976 and led by Cumar Istarliin the Abgaal former 60s mayor of Xamar. AY was a leader of a group of rogue officers who formed the SSF. Mustafe Xaaji Nuur became the SSDF chairman in 1981. In the same year the SNM was formed which weakened opposition unity and split them into clan lines. Hawiye militia occasionally assisted SNM and SSDF operations before uniting under USC in 1987. @kobe and @Significant can tell you more about the former mayor.

So when Somalilanders use the argument that the Somali flag is a copy of a racist confederate flag it's legit but now it's mere coincidence?

Mudane Cumar Istarliin AUN, was beloved mayor, member of SYL and a native of Muqdisho who deeply cared for his city and it's inhabitants. He built a lot of roads in Xamar the most famous one being Makka Al-Mukarramah road and he also left the city with ''cabirka istarliin'', plot of lands that used his unit were larger than the previous ones and significantly larger than the ones that came after. He was arrested for several months when Kacaanka happened and much of his private wealth was confiscated and/or plundered.

He was good friends (If I'm not mistaken their mothers were also related) with the founder of Puntland I believe he is called something Cali Mire and were in exile in Kenya together during Kacaanka. I think he(Cali Mire) named a school after him somewhere in Puntland. @kobe eebow beesha Galmaax's excellent and well educated leadership is required these days, will you be our generations Cumar Istarliin?

That's the flag of SL in 1991-93. I thought you were referring to the current flag. Why are you showing me this one?
Your last point is irrelevant to this discussion since I didn't make that claim. :snoop:
