some people dont want to accept it but ethiopia is the regional hegemon. somalias neighboured by a city-state and kenya who cant project power at all. ethiopias the only competent country and their economy is growing far more, and is far ahead of, somalias. somalias interest would be tying itself to a richer nation, the leaderships interest is aligning themselves with their puppet masters.
