Being Somali is not a language or a culture. Being Somali is from lineage. If a few Bantus mixed with members of the Somali clans they live near (even though it’s extremely rare) that doesn’t make Bantus Somali. They never have been Somali and will never be Somali. Bantu and Somalis are a paradox.

Living in Somalia for a certain amount of time is not going to change your dna. If you aren’t: Darood, Dir, Hawiye, Isaaq, Raxanweyn then your not Somali. Somali is an ethnic group sxb, don’t ever disrespect Somalinimo like that again.
