I have a feeling that my friend is sneak dissing me under the veil of friendship. He is gay, you know the feminine type of gay. I didn't have a problem with him at first but some of his comments are shady.
He says things that make me feel shamed. For example I was wearing this nice dress and he was saying how I wanted some male attention that night This type of shit has happened before. I don't know why it bothers him when I dress up.
And recently me and him were outside at some park. A group of young men are walking by us, like six to ten of them and all of a sudden he says some weird shit. He was like 'If they come after us, you just distract them', basically implying that I should let them all f*ck me while he runs away. He laughed it off but I felt some type of way about it. Like excuse me?
For some reason it seems like he's constantly shaming me. Should I confront him or just let it go? He's a fun person to be around and I like hanging out with him usually. But can gay men be as misogynistic as straight men?
