But doesn't that defeat the whole purpose? If you have issues with one wife and marry another for the sole purpose of having a better married life, how would you be able to treat them equally? Its already hard enough for men who like both women to treat them equally.

But what would she get out of staying though? She's trapped in a loveless marriage, whilst her husband gets a fulfilling marriage with another woman.

I understand a polygamous marriage when the man has money and has a good relationship with all the women, but what you just described is mad.

if she wants to divorce than that is a option but if she is “old” than it’ll be hard to find a guy whose willing to marry her with a child so it just makes it easy on her since he still has to fulfill his roll as her husband
