Is it really difficult building a state?

On Somaliland the goverment can give the Somaliland leadership concessions to give them a special status with in the somali republic this has to be enshrined in the new constitution then Somaliland has to accept these condition they will get equal share in parliament like a two system confederal State system .Somaliland will be allowed to keep their goverment elections monatary system they will share only defense and overal sovreignty with Mogadishu and foreign policy in Exchange Somaliland will get the right to have independence referendum united nations supervised in 25 years time . This gives Mogadishu the time to solve its self strengthen it self build the country so by the time the independence referendum is held the people will likely vote for Union . But Mogadishu has to rebuild it self and make Somalia a viable state once people see the economic Wealth of the south they Will vote for Union. In those 25 years Mogadishu task only to rebuild and make the Union attractive . I think this is how u solve the issue with Somaliland this new deal will allow Mogadishu leadership to fly to Hargeisa propogate unionism as part of the new deal this gives Mogadishu a say in Somaliland affaire as wel and have influencer Somaliland gets more development and a say in the central goverment I don’t know the exact formulah but Mogadishu can save the Union by making these steps .

The saddest part is something like this genuinely could have been thrashed out this decade but FGS decided to piss Somaliland off for no reason. Now we’re going to have to wait at least another 10 years for something like this!

That’s what I am saying trying to build a state from Mogadishu is just absurd we have been doing that or trying that almost more then 2 decades and we expect different result the issue is we think Mogadishu is the same Mogadishu the Italians left behind the biggest city but things has changed the capital city is sick so Somalia needs to be saved and it can be done from some place else

I sadly agree Mogadishu things that by prolonging the talks about talks for a decade Somaliland magically wil say waauw amisom is the way let’s join. They think if they prolong and prolong Somaliland way iska iman nooh xamar ay ka shidantahay we have seen the options they have the mou was a warning it just takes for aipac to push this agenda and it’s a done deal heshis hala gaadho in the past 3 decades the United States have ignored Somaliland now we are hearing bils being passed trump mentioning Somaliland ted Cruz talking about it . The wind is changing the republic can still be saved but proper leadership have to emerge from xamar
