I never questioned her identity as an individual. Read what I wrote again, but slowly this time.

I'll summarise the context for just for you. She was calling herself Semitic as an individual solely because she was from an Arab country, which is a logical fallacy. I already respect her Arab identity, as I know it's a cultural and linguistic heritage not strictly ethnic.

I was pointing out that the argument is weaker from a rational standpoint because the REGION (not her) has less Arab blood than the Middle East. It wouldn't matter if she herself was more Arab, because in the heat of the argument, no one is asking for DNA tests and the perception of "North Africans being less Arab" is too stuck in its place to be shaken off like that. Why risk embarassing yourself before Zionists who spend a lot of time researching Ancient Judea who could easily think of that counterargument?

That really has nothing to do with it, nor did it have a actual genetic impact if you look at northern maghrebis. There also a minority of people in the levant with the same traits as having ginger hair or blue eyes etc.

Although it's a minority it can happen naturally.
Maghrebis are a mixture of Early European Farmers and IBM, people in the North have an increase of EEF it can be up to 40-50. That and climate is why people in the North can be quite pale rather than any recent dna.

A lot of these traits like pale skin/light skin or even ginger hair originated in Asia (An example would be Ismail I of Persia, who had natural ginger hair.)
It's simply that Europeans have a higher frequency rather than it originating from them, if you look at the Western Hunter Gatherers they had dark skin, it was only until middle easterners migrated to Europe that they started to have light skin at least in the Western Europe.
