Is going to Somalia really worth it?

The company I currently work for has a job position to become a 'product specialist', in which I was asked by my manager if I wanted to become one, which just means ill be sent out to fix our products sold and made by the company I work at. This will require me to travel through the US and Canada, though I never been to Somalia once.

I make 5.5k a month at my current job

I can make upwards to 10k a month at the other job

My question is,
Is Going to Somalia Really Worth it?

I'm pretty sure is fine living in Somalia if you have money but safety wise isn't guaranteed due to al shabab. Avoid as of now

Depends where, south only xamar but north you can go anywhere

Planned to go with my dad, to beledweyne, or xamar

the reason why I ask this, is because if you travel to Somalia, you cant go to the US due to VISA restrictions, it will restrict me and screw me up if I ever wanna take that job
You can, it’s only the ESTA (visa waiver) you can’t get. You wouldn’t be able to use the ESTA if you were travelling for work purposes anyway.
