Is Dixon and Kipling area still dangerous?

I’m going to be moving in with my brother who lives in one of the 3 yellowish white buildings in Dixon and Kipling in Toronto . I was just wondering if this area is still dangerous and how cautious I should be living there as a Somali man.

It's not dangerous. Just a lot of Somalis. Don't be a guy who acts hood and you'll be good. Don't go to places you shouldn't and you'll be good. Don't befriend goofy ass people and you'll be good. That's how it is in the entire GTA.

I would advise you to tell your parents to find you a home in a decent neighborhood. As a young man, you will be a target for the gangs. You may as well go to back home instead of living in that place.

Be careful going out,dont take stairs, dont go to VC ballcourt and dont wear blue and you should be good.

Lowkey scared of being targeted, is there anything I can do to not be? (I’m guessing using the building gyms and pools and that stuff is a bad idea?)
