Is deni actually making Puntland great?

Only Puntlanders can answer that question and every Puntlander on sspot loves Deni because of reasons.
But my PL friends don't like him due to his cronyism and obsession with Villa Somalia.
I believe It's the same way HSM's people defend him online but hate him in real life.
If he was such a crony why don’t we see people publicly proclaiming it in PL like they did in SL with Biixi and his land thefts or HSM with his land thefts and other criminal activities like the oil deal?

Well, my friends tell me it's due to PL tradition of "Kursiga nin baa ku fadhiya - so everyone leave him be" to preserve Puntland unity first and that's why Puntland has been the most stable region in the country.
Maybe he's not as bad as Biixi but do you deny PLers are somewhat unhappy with him filling government positions with his family members and using PL state assets to run for Villa Somalia?
All my friends support him despite them being unhappy with him due to these two reasons.

I think it’s just obfuscation and projection mostly by Aaran Jaan who thought they would easily replace Deni. His good must greatly outweigh his bad if they are willing to remain silent, as we all know Somalis aren’t known to be patient. It’s true he wants to be president of Somalia but you could say that about all Somali politicians. I think he gets his money from UAE, not PL, otherwise it would be pretty obvious if tens of millions of dollars just went missing. This isn’t some superpower where those sums are generated even my small town taxes.

You wrong, after AY went to xamar Puntland were divided, specailly my clan we had beef with MS. When Deni come and attack Bossaso I hated him, but after he reverse his actions and apologise to CS. Since that time Deni statred to focus to bring Puntland clans, even Reer Sool and Sanaag for first time believe on Puntland.

Deni brought us stronger that why we elected him again, I hope he been relected five times if he keep build our beloved Puntland.

Puntlanders have grown to appreciate Deni, he’s simply miles better than the other contenders, many of whom fled to Mogadishu like Diana, @bgal and joined the current sinking ship that is Hassan’s government. Others have capitulated and bent the knee to him like Farole Jr, Abshir Huruse.

He’s indeed the best Puntland president since Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed AUN, and his style resembles that of the formidable and brilliant Mohamed Ibrahim Egal AUN.

His main flaw however other than the usual cronyism, and regarding Puntland as a stepping stone towards Villa Somalia, is that he doesn’t strike fear in the hearts of people the way Abdullahi Yusuf did. Abdullahi Yusuf killed horgals with no hesitation, nobody dared double cross the old man. Deni is no strongman, but he is a statesman and he is managing Puntland better than his predecessors.

Coming June I’m expecting him to cut off the ssc khaatumo burden from Puntland root and stem, no more 💰 towards Sool, let Hassan foot the $3 million a month bill, and Deni to also lead the confederation call (Puntland, Somaliland, South-Central Somalia) because Puntlanders are sick and tired of sacrificing for Somali unity only to have what they built be used against them.

What happens if Somalia continues to be a burden while puntland continues moving up. Will you guys want succession? especially no every foreign country is eyeing on looting Somalia resources??

It’s very complicated, unlike Somaliland, Puntlanders are more attached to the rest of the south culturally and historicallly, secession is still among majority of Puntlanders a taboo, especially among the older generations.

However consider the Confederation option unfolding in the coming months as Puntland’s gateway to secession. Puntland already signed away too much power to the federal government and has been hurt by it, but a RESET is coming soon via Kampala.

How is he as a leader? I hear good things. Is he combating isis over there abd do you believe he should win the elections for Somalia. I feel like he's the only one that is actually doing something compares to the other candidates that are extremely bad in their job. We are at a crucial time now and we cannot afford to have a weak leader ever again especially considering Turkey is around our waist (which I hate) we can't get another hsm. So what is next?
Make Puntland great again. MPGA is the acronym.
