Law was something I was interested in. My mother/ grandmother discouraged me from it. I wanted to become a divorce lawyer :gaasdrink:

Although it pays great, I’m glad you didn’t. A friend of mine is a divorce lawyer. Unfortunately it’s taken a massive toll on his mental health.

If so how are experiencing it and In what which field do you study?
Yes I’m currently studying law. Lots and lots of reading. It helps to have an interest in the subject, and not merely do it for financial gain. InshaAllah, I am planning on getting into criminal / family law.

It was the outcomes of certain divorces he witnessed, truly brutal. The legal system is flawed, divorce is truly one sided. One party triumph, whilst the other looses everything they have.

I have a close friend who’s a medical attorney, he told me once that IP and medical are probably more difficult specialties to study but very lucrative to pursue. @malab What field of law are you planning to study?
