Is a career in Somali politics worth it for a diaspora?

I currently hold a BA (political science & minor in....) and will be looking to head back to school to attain a Master. I have been undecided at whether to take my skills in the near future to my federal state or remain here in the west and work.The only problem here is that I will have no chance of ever materializing my political ambitions but the options are endless back home.

So should I ditch the west and return home?
