@Basra why didn't Queen Victoria help the suffering Irish people? The Sultan of the Ottoman Empire helped.
Ceeeeeeeb!
The English looked down on the irish. Sad historical tidbit. and then the American black slaves have the audacity to say they were mistreated. Tell them to ask the irish.
I have deep and profound respect for the Irish people.

That famine is one of the main reasons why ~30 million Irishmen live in the USA today.
More Irish folks live in the diaspora than back in their Ethnic homeland.
In such an alternate reality, there would've been a "special relationship" between the USA & Somalia.Imagine 30 million Somalis in America. The cultural / political / financial influence.
Too bad they had racist immigration laws before the 1960s. They even restricted Slavic and Italian migration in the 1920s.

Cadaan respected and somewhat feared somalis for being rebellious and fearless with no inferiority. For such a thing to happen we would have to be weak and docile like the asians and white passing races. If we were christian and agreed with their hypothesis of us being dark caucasians, they would have allowed us to migrate and live among them.In such an alternate reality, there would've been a "special relationship" between the USA & Somalia.
