Looks like Iran isn’t going to strike any American bases or close the strait of Hormuz. They will probably just keep their missile strikes going.

I think closing the straits of Hormuz would be the last resort for Iran. I can see them closing it if they get hit hard to the point where the government is about to fall.
Yes, Iranian have limited options which would work to their favour. They will probably be humiliated enough to renegotiate the nuclear program under worse terms.
