What the new Iran-China partnership means for the region
This new realignment in Asia provides new opportunities not only for China and Iran, but also for Pakistan.
Iran and China have recently signed many bilaterally deals to strengthen their co-operation. As we all know, China is becoming more active and bolder in its foreign policy. Iran needs more allies due to the pressure the economic blockade by the US is having.
a very interest point made is where this leaves India. Modis India/hindu nationalist stance is leaving it increasingly isolated in the region. Unfortunately for them, India is the only Hindu nation so “hindustan” whatever they want to call it will only get it so far. Iran-Pakistan-China pact is a serious threat to india and will embolden their arch nemesis the Pakistani.
