You think they will stop fighting for winnie the pooh ? The prophet already told us once you start fighting you won’t stop.
They might . It’s in their interest to have stable relations it’s good for business . Iran has crippling sanctions and will probably look to east for relief. West betrayed them after they signed nuclear agreement and trump ripped it up .

I don't think it was primarily for business related, but rather the proxy war going on in Yemen, with KSA and Iran sitting on each end.

Now that the military intervention has failed, they will probably head towards a mediated political settlement with KSA/UAE + Yemen gov't/Southern separatists on one side and Houthis + Iran on the other side.

Also, the relations between KSA and UAE is currently deteriorating and strained, but the overall objective is a stable region and seeking their interests, as you're saying.

I follow the news often, and recently many "reports" has come out about it. Most of to do with the conflicting interest of KSA and UAE in Yemen and different positions of oil-market. (KSA has now denied, but it's evident.)

In Yemen, since the intervention has failed, UAE has aimed at getting closer with the southern separatist (Southern Transitional Movement), who controls (despite contests with the gov't) large parts of southern Yemen. They are now aiding/helping them "capture" the rest of southern Yemen territories it had before the union with north in 90s, both from Houthis and the gov't/allied militias. UAE has completely taken over Socotra island, and seek control of the red sea through the separatist.

KSA see Houthi as a rebel group supported and directly controlled by Iran, so coming to terms with them will mean having Iran as "de-facto" neighbours, so they are still trying to achieve full control of Yemen. Although recent reports indicates, that they are willing/open to talks with Houthis under strict conditions, since their intervention has not yielded expected results.

Read this article. Or just search up KSA and UAE and you'll see more.

China is the big boss, hopefully they can keep the UAE in check and have it stop meddling in Somalia's and other countries affairs
