however originally I did not apply to this role and put

as my first choice as I wanted a change from STEM and wanted to experience being a lawyer at a very well known law firm. Also it does not deal with Israel.

Regarding the new firm I’ve been placed at for June, it supports Israel by taking part in investing in their weapons which includes military aircraft and helicopter systems. They have been attacked by protesters with red paint split on their buildings

Morally, Im conflicted as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and its extremely hard to get an internship especially in a big city like London. I did not apply to a bank nor do I want anything to do with them

Secure the bag. In America it's very competitive to get into big law. Big law firms only recruit from the top schools and pay their lawyers pretty well(like 200-500k+).

Lawyers in America that don't work in big law have salary ranges from 50k-100k. Which is honestly crazy since many lawyers are 6 figures in debt because of law school..

The UK also seems to be paying their big law lawyers 6 figure salaries.

They switched me from law to Investment banking which is haram :/ im gonna deffo be working with koofi yares if I go

If you want to become a lawyer I'm telling you right now big law is the way to go if you want lacag.

In the UK nothing is paid as much as the US. Even law isnt as competitive nowadays

Imagine the protestors being outside the building and I have to go inside with my full hijabi self im gonna get splattered with red paint

I know but big law lawyers still get paid a great salary in the UK.

I can’t make that decision for you….

I will say this, I’d hate to go to qiyamah only to find a bunch of Palestinian complaining to Allah that I helped oppress them. I can barely deal with my own personal sins

Your correct however technically im only shadowing under them and getting paid for it

I know but big law lawyers still get paid a great salary in the UK.

Starting salary is between 20-30K and Average salary is only 53K. They get paid bad for their profession
