Interesting map showing the formation of countries prior to european interference

I don't think this map is correct. Many of the boundaries seem off by hundreds of miles.
Interesting, any particular examples?

A look at the map makes one realise Somalis had the biggest country alongside, Interestingly enough the San bushmen of southern Africa, could it be that they both share relatively arid condition?

Sidama area is bigger than reality. They did not rule over the other non-Sidama ethnicities.

Same for Anuak. Way bigger than their actual territory.

Konso is also wrong.

Oromo map also seems sketchy.

It seems to have been made by some European who didn't know the integrate details of Africa.

Overall it is not too bad, but on the detail level it is way off.

Okay thank you for your input, yes I agree, overall it is not bad at all.

Funnily enough I prefer this map, to the mainstream map of today's Africa with all the so called modern countries created by Europeans.

Looking at that map makes sense as to why 3 European powers split up our lands. We would be tied 2nd largest ethnic group after the Arabs in Africa.

Isn't "2nd Largest ethnic group" based on population rather than land size?

Even Oromo's have a bigger population than us.

Fulanis also have a lot of lands spread across many countries.

Also Arabs shouldn't really be grouped as one ethnic group.

All of africa is very divided except for one big area in the horn of africa. That's us, that's Somaliweyn, our nation which existed hundreds of years ago and shall continue for many years to come.
Well Somalis seems much more divided than the rest of Africa :mybusiness:
