Swahili is a Niger-Congo language, it isn't related to Somali at all
I didn't see/remember them mention cushitic languages. But I'm still surprised and doubting the fact that Somalia is the most documented cushitic language. I need some sources.
Ask yourself, how many Cushitic languages are there lol? Of course Somali is most documented and also only Cushitic language accorded official status in a country.
