I've always said what this man said about development. There is no point building high-rises, when u have no paved roads, side-walks, drainage, or sewage. Somalia progress needs public infrastructure. He also criticized 'young politicians' who lack 'experience' or were born in 'HAG ERA'. Young people leading isn't a good idea, if today we went to one man one vote, Farmajo would win becuz the voters are 'all uneducated' and care about getting they're 'pay checks' only.
You should be at least 60 before running for office and have a wealth of govt and private experience.
He is in Hargeisa now to 'expand' Boodhari Mills operational zone into Puntland. I really liked his insight into Somali politics. I like listening to people like him, it allows me to grow my political capital for the future.
The other thing we need is landscaping in all Somalia. All public and private investment need to be sent to a landscaping authority to prepare the area for development. Not just dump a building surrounded by filth. In my opinion the every city needs to be landscaped first. Remove all the excess rock in the city, flatten the road base, implement trees, street lights, electricity poles, water pipeline. This should be a bare minimum in every section of a town.
