They didn't take it as soldiers were still in their barracks doing nothing with some doing useless Tiktoks that's one of the major criticisms that this govt was directed at as it only had 2 options either withdraw from Laascanood or take military action only later that he took te former advice when the forces lost moral and broke down as a result of disagreement between the defense ministry and commanders on the ground

Walahi you know nothing of war. As I said there were many vicious battles leading up to 25th and each battle was a big hit on SL. You make it seem like they choose to sit in Goojacade and it wasn’t due to the fact that they lost Tukaraq, Boocame, Xudun, LA and Xaraaga and many other military bases

Walahi you know nothing of war. One does not just retreat from a military base. Let me tell you how Boocame and Tukaraq fell. When Qodhob marched from Mudug to LA in February, he made a genius move. Instead of marching directly towards Tukaraq, he made a u-turn and marched towards Boocame, he let the Jimcaale and his army march towards Tukaraq. Had Qodhob marched towards Tukaraq, the SL Boocame army could have attacked him from the flanks. By setting camp near Boocame, SL had to retreat as soon as Jimcaale marched towards Tukaraq or else they’d face 2 fronts simultaneously. Had Boocame not been neutralized from the get-go, SL would have multiple supply routes and could’ve attacked LA from multiple directions.

When armed militias entered the city, (thanks to the stupidity of the govt giving the permission for that to happen), and based themselves around the district SL forces couldn't just stay in Tukaraq and Boocame as the supply route was already stretched and in danger of getting cut as PL sent its militias to Sool and retreating to Goojacade and Maraaga made strategic sense as the SL army could have been encircled in all direction. It seems you're the one who knows noting about the war kk
Doesn't matter as long as Goojacade was the place SL army in Laasacsanod was stationed in
