Apparently Geko was lying about the cancer thing, thats what people are saying on twitter. Probably is a lie, you don't get a direct call from a doctor to let you know you only have a year left too informal and unrealistic

I knew it was suspicious.

The receptionist can't even tell you your test results for sensitive things like treatable minor STDs. You have to go to the doctor's office to know what your results are.
