You are not walhy Somali but Madow girlOut of all the issues we Somalis face they had to choose this word, very strange especially telling it to an ajnabi with lots of ajnabi viewers.

Why do Somali justice warriors only focus on this word and not the Midgaan word slur too? They are another Somali minority after all.
Nah its clear where they standI noticed that too most of them have identity crisis
I doubt these kids even know about the Gaboye. I read an article about them and that’s how I found out since my parents never brought them upWhy do Somali justice warriors only focus on this word and not the Midgaan word slur too? They are another Somali minority after all.

I’ve never met one before, but my mom said she had a close Madhibaan friend growing up. Do they have a community where you live?Brother in law is madhibaan. Learned about gabooyes when my sister got married
Naw my sis lives in Minnesota. Most of the madhibaan in the states live there.I’ve never met one before, but my mom said she had a close Madhibaan friend growing up. Do they have a community where you live?
I didn’t know MN had a community there. MN definitely has a more diverse Somali community than where I grew upNaw my sis lives in Minnesota. Most of the madhibaan in the states live there.
The only somali minorities that live in my area are somali bantus. I rarely run into them though
Somali girls’ fashion is cooked.Even as non-hijabis they need a style upgrade. Stay clear of box braids or leather jackets. I would much prefer quiet luxury to be adopted. I strongly recommend that some Somali women move away from imitating styles that don't suit them, which will merely cause hair loss. Also, this strange brand of being overwhelmingly social justice-oriented is hyperbolic. We acknowledge the inequities people experience, but your advocacy is better off being less attention-seeking or divisive.
Imagine being so detached that you think the most pressing Somali issue you deal with is the utterance of j****, which, mind you, is the name of a minority ethnic group of people in Somalia. Co-opted and used as a derogatory term when it's more of an adjective.
Even if u were or are or aren’t. You’re literally doing nothing to effect the world.I used to be a sectionist just up till couple of days ago till I realised we are all somali at the end of the day snd the more we seperate the more weaker somalia is and our enemy rejoicing at us separating by clans. We have to get rid of taking pride in our qabil. Btw please delete that post where you said "bad character" as I have changed my stance on somaliland
You better not be a straight man commenting on women's fashion like this...Somali girls’ fashion is cooked.
Post hood rat era, enter the Capsule Wardrobe:
the appeal is less choices, but in the name of equality they’ve chosen, tasteless, stylistic self imprisonment, technocratic, qashin.
Capsule Wardrobe for Somali girls’ is derivative to south Asian hijabis.
