May Allah show mercy to those effected and speed up the recovery of those injured.

It is becoming more likely that some people in the government are working for al shabaab . It seems that they always get away with their terror.

This needs a tech solution.

-Every fucker in the city is ID'd, with gps chips in the IDs
-Cameras and sensors all across the city
-Anytime a camera senses someone who is unidentified, an alaram goes off and authorities
IMMEDIATELY seize their ass.

This is fixable, enough of these shitty security lapses.

AUN to the victims

Mogadishu is truly cursed, here you have people who either let through kebab and protect kebab in their homes

The innocent are paying a huge price

FGS benefits from these attacks.

Do you really think they're incompetent asses would have a job if Xamar was peaceful?

Notice how you never see corrupt politicians targeted.

It's usually only people who want to develop Somalia or real Sheiks.

Fahad Yasin will die in his 90s due to natural causes while young Somali politicians and development activists won't see their 40th birthday.

So you telling me we have to wait for these old heads to die to have any semblance of peace in xamar?

Nothing to do with age. Those traitors are young and old alike.

Only way to free Somalia is to beat fire with fire.

Foreign interest are offering up cents to some of us in return for betraying our people.

Instead of fighting these replaceable cockroaches we should offer them a dollar instead for their loyalty to Somalia.... well not to Somalia but the benefit a stronger Somalia personally provides them.

That's how most organisations and proto nations work.

Organizations give out titles and rewards in return others take the organization seriously because their own titles and rewards depend on it.

Dictators pay off their cronies for stability and shared interests and it tend to work as they're on the same boat.

Kings give out land and titles to their courts in return for recognition of the crown and the status quo since the next upsurper would take away their land.

Understanding these basic rules would allow us to develop more resilient state institution that doesn't fall apart whenever anybody sneezes.

We already have solar powered street lights, this is not a hard or expensive solution.

In anycase these simple solutions can be put in place as the oil money starts rolling in at the very least.

Only practical option.

Not only would this stop preventable attacks like this but it would also make everyone feel safer.

In turn you'd get more economic activity and more importantly the gov could use the surveillance to collect tax revenue more effectively.

No one wants to build anything at the moment for obvious reasons.

It sucks we have gotten to this point, but citizens of Muqdisho have lost the right to anonymity.

From now anyone who breathes in the city needs an ID thats tracked on a map.

This will also have the by product of neutralizing qabil issues as well, since everyone is equal under surveillance, the camera hides nothing

I'd rather have a crowd sourced civilian organization control the surveillance since FGS is my number one suspect as the funders of AL Shabaab.
