You are projecting your own beliefs onto them, every single Nigerian/West African I know is proud of their heritage and traditions and history (read about West African kingdoms). Ofcourse there are some self-haters but there are self-haters in every group.

You’re actually dumb wallahi do some research the largest man made structure in the world was in West Africa (British destroyed it) they had some of the strongest kingdoms and trading routes. One of the most advanced African empires (Nok Civilisation) was in West Africa and other empires had been trading outside of Africa for years.
