I'm sure you've all heard of the Lebanese tragedy a couple days ago. It turns out that the nation is in political and economic turmoil for some time now, with the coronavirus only exacerbating an already volatile state. Many have 0 faith in their leaders, with protests every month against corruption being the norm. Some have reached the lengths to be put under French rule again, as Lebanon was a protectorate of French (Similar to British Somaliland), as if this will help anything. This was due to the French president flying out today and visiting hospitals and generally looking like a Lebanese leader to the people, who don't like their leaders:

This is hilarious, until you realise that there are many within us who long to be ruled over by white too. Some people of color have been brainwashed to think the white man is the only one that can save them, whilst also believing the white man is the root of all evil in the world. You blame white people for issues in your country, but want their help and rely on their lacag? How hard it must be for the white man (!)

Lebanon is a country with Arab style corruption and no oil to mitigate it. What they are asking for is to tap to the EU funds and continue with their old ways.

Unfortunately France is in no financial position to act as a sugar daddy until Lebanon fixes itself which negates the whole point of asking for colonization.

What Lebanon needs is to make hard choices and go through tough reforms. Yesterday's blast was their final awakening call.
