say there's integrated immersive simulation technology, the idea is that this machine could read your dna and be able to somehow to reconstitute the past based on the experience of your ancestors and you were able to go into a simulation of one of your ancestors and see through their eyes what reality was back then in time.

Why immerse technology and not time machine? because it's more feasible and requires less energy to make happen with the advance of dna and vr technologies.
