I spoke to my lawyer today and he signed it off that my new lawyer will submit the appeal the reason why i got locked was because my barrister told me in court that the evidence i had was weak and would make it worse for me if i spoke in court it being my first time in a trial i listened to her and stay quiet she said she would defend me in court against the accusations she tried but it wasnt enough they remanded me for a month i went back to court December 8 and they sentenced me to 2years of suspended sentence and 6months on ankle monitoring curfew and 60days of probation. I am innocent and the evidence i now have gathered since i was released is here as follows i have the cellsite of my phone which shows i was at my house at the time of the robbery i have 4 alibis who saw me in the house at the time my family members the victim claimed we were the same height in court but its proven as a lie because i am 6ft4 and hes 5ft9 i also have the pictures to show my hair wasnt long and curly which was in my phone the police took it while the case was going so i couldnt gather that vital eveidence i only had the alibis and me saying i was at home at the time. I also linked up with my co-d on the case last week he told me who actually done the crime he is another mali boy and he matches the description fully i only match the part were he said i was black the rest doesnt match me so with this new evidence and the real culprit exposed inshallah i can win the appeal and lose this criminal record.
