This is the Menace,

I was once the topic of your show. You guys seemed agitated by my usual trolling.

I'm here today to apologize but don't you also think that you'll come across supporters and opposers of you guys when you guy are, wanting to be, public figures. It comes with the territory. So are you guys ready to handle criticism ?

First criticism I have for you is " why do you hide behind the camera ? "

Hi. Welcome to our forum.

I like your channel but I feel you're not covering all topics of our community on your YouTube channel. Will you be addressing the gay Somalis who number 10% in the diaspora but are largely in the closet? There are a few open gay Somalis in Toronto where you are based. Do you plan on having them as guests like Lali Mohamed? Or how about the atheists/agnostics who are growing everyday in community. We had a poll on here where 40% of Somalis on Somalispot identity as atheist/agnostic. Do you plan on talking about their struggles and their place in the Somali community?

I appreciate you guys tackling topics like domestic violence and other things but I feel you could go the distance

Thank you

Hello.

I have noticed your show touches on "taboo" issues in the Somali community, what has the reaction been?

Is it available on Itunes?

Are you surprised at how controversial your podcast has been? What direction do you see Sheeko sheeko going in terms of topics in the future.

Hi Queen Buuq and welcome to our forum.

Your show covers controversial topics and recently there was a backlash on Twitter against one of your video ( the one about qabiil and madhibaans).

Do situations like this make you shy away from discussing or covering certain topics?

Hey guys! we're up and running! #Let'sGetThisStarted!
Hey queen buuq. How come every panel member shows their face on camera but you dont show it?
When we first started the show, we had one goal in mind. That we would be genuine, authentic and to keep it real with our viewers. So in order for me to express how I really feel and say it how it is, I decided not to show my face. Maybe sometime in the future things will change but for now, this is the only way I can keep this goal at this point in time.

You sir are a professional troll! LOL. The reason why we decided to broadcast you and the things you said, is because at that time we never experienced "haters". It was a new concept to us. Be proud.....you popped our cherry!

Hi queen of buuq.

I currently reside in MN and wanted to start a podcast where Somali youths can express themselves, have their voices heard without putting each other down. What were the challenges that you and your peers faced when you first started sheeko sheeko? What advice can you give me in order to go through this route?

Also I have another question:

How do you feel about Somalis in the diaspora who are more interested in causes of other ethnic groups? Somalis seem to be more interested in helping out when it came to the Syrian migrants then they did of Somali famine victims. Somali mosques in Ottawa and Edmonton have sponsored Syrian migrants and secured them a years worth of living expenses. This wasn't done by the community during the Somali famine. All we did were BBQs but we didn't mobilize as a community to sponsor famine victims who were terrorized by Al Shabab and denied food if provided by non Muslim agencies.

Do you feel we have a problem of self hatred in our diaspora community and do you plan on addressing this in a future video?

Yes! absolutely agree with you! these are the topics we want to tackle. The gays, the atheists, anything that is actually taking place in our community. WE AIN'T SCARED TO TALK ABOUT IT! I'm actually for it! Here is the major problem we constantly run into.PEOPLE ARE SCARED! They are too sacred to come on the show and express their views. So how do we get these people to feel safe in our community so they share their experiences.

Some hate it! some love, some think we should not speak on these things. We say.....if its actually taking place in our community we are going to talk about it. Soundcloud and Itunes are on their way InshAllah!

Queen Buuq! Walaal/abaayo, for the record, are you or are you not @Duchess, our forum Mod?

Secondly, I will suggest that you don't address or acknowledge a culture that is affront to our culture, believe system and our way of life. Do you see the Western society having a polygamist culture ( except the Mormons ..a pariah group in their society). They do not condone your culture because it is affront to them so therefore please do not have a program about qoomu-luudh.

I have another question too. I noticed that the panel members are quite similar in terms of their values as they have the same liberal narrative. Do you plan on having a more conservative panel members?

Lali Mohamed would not be scared. Also you can do Skype calls with these people to hide their identity.

Not at all! Our main goal was to speak on controversial issues in our community and not sugar coat anything. InshAllah we want to continue growing, speak on what's happening in today's society and inshAllah have more of your favorite talent interviewed on the show.
