A few months ago i found out i was engaged to a girl around my age.At first i was reluctant due to me not being interested and i didnt know about it.Over messages and coffee i got to like her and everything was fine and dandy.However after looking through somalispot and finding out nggas being played i had a quick look at her feed.To my disdain she was a hardcore Somalilander and hated somalia with a passion.I don't know what to do, i cant see myself with someone who is against my dream of leading somalia...especially a lander!!!!

True, but I think hating Somalia with a passion is an issue beyond politics. She probably would calm down on that issue but the type of mindset that allows someone to think like that I think is a bigger problem.

Alot of lander girls don't care about the northwestern region of Somalia. They inter-marry with many other qabiils. I dated a lander girl in the past and she didn't care about the northwestern region of Somalia.
Actually @Shamis is right, it's not that serious. If it was, Isaaqs wouldn't intermarry with other clans. When Isaaqs speak badly of the south they're just virtue-signalling to other Isaaqs, as if to say 'oh, look at me, i' m a real die-hard Somalilander'. Yeah it's pretty pathetic, but it doesn't mean they actually hate the south and southern Somalis. It's just superficial slogans they mindlessly repeat in order to demonstrate loyalty and thus gain status within Somaliland circles.
If Isaaqs really hated Somalia and other Somalis they would no longer uphold Soomaalinimo. But in the diaspora if ur in need or in trouble an Isaaq is just as likely to help you in the name of Soomaalinimo as a person from any other clan.
