It gets worse from here
Happy birthday, little sis!
Remember, don't follow your dreams. Find a practical, lucrative degree program in a subject you find somewhat interesting and think you can weather long-term and go for it. Do internships and volunteer throughout your college years for a good-looking resume and make friends with the rich-kids for future job ops.
Live frugally for your first 5-10 years of employment and save, save, save. Then throw down a down-payment on two houses; one you will rent at just somewhat over its mortgage to both pay off said mortgage and make a profit to live somewhat off of (plan the property choice well) and live in the other or buy a patch of cheap land out in the boonies and build yourself an off-grid farm set-up like Mr. Jandai here whilst working fully remote thanks to the lucrative and practical career path you have chosen (STEM!):
Or just skip all these steps, get a liberal arts degree and marry some monied Faraax straight out of college. The choice is yours.
My childhood has come to an end
