Everyone knows that he is Muslim and he is often the target of cadaan racists in the UK.
Asian Muslims won't publicly attack him for supporting LGBTQ as they value the greater political capital they get for having him in that seat.
Same with Sajid Javid who is the Health Secretary.
However, Ilhan Omar who is all the way in the US is fair game to them. You even have Arabs whose leaders engage in open kuffar attacking her while they don't tolerate criticism of their leaders.

Hijab has been tweeting non stop about Ilhan Omar ever since she tweeted that qashin.
He directed much of the vitriol against her and only later threw in Linda Sarsour and Taliba like an after thought.
Not the first time he has gone after Ilhan Omar too. For comparison...he has never tweeted about the LGBTQ supporting Muslim major of the city he lives in who is also far more known in the UK than Ilhan Omar.
