Very interesting, however is there any photographic evidence for this? Mogadishu is by far the most federally funded sector of the country and most likely the richest - yet many parts of it seems to be just as worse off than the rest of the country.1. The presidential palace has been renovated since then.
2. Income inequality is very noticeable.
People earn a dollar a day back home while people buy $10 lattes in cafes.
Nearly all these restaurants you see back home charge Western prices or higher, all in US dollars.

You'd be suprised how many millionaires we have back home. You have men clearing six figures through their multiple business ventures, living in massive villas. The fact that there are cafes and high end restaurant that are similar to Western restaurant prices should tell you a lot. And then, unfortunately we have miskeens who living on a $1 a day.
I think the only reason why it isn't that noticeable is that Somalis aren't flashy by nature. You'll get odeys in Kenya richer than 98% of Western Somalis, yet they'll dress similar to everyone is content to frequent the local miqayaad. Also culturally we don't look down on each other for being less wealthy. We look down on each other based on qabil, so people don't feel the need to competitively showcase their wealth.
there’s only a 100%, we’re all in this togetherthere is NO 1% in Somalia lool
