I'm not from Galbeed and I voted independent. I don't think they should be under our mess currently, we would just hold them back. If we can get our shit together then unification would be ideal, and I’d fully support it then. But for now, nah.

I think for now we should wait till Southern Somalia and Northern Somalia get their act together. But we should all support each other no matter which Region of Somalia you're from. We should fight as one and protect every Somali national. We can be SomaliWeyn and still run separate Region states.

I think the best action to take is to use our oil wealth deposits to build up our state into a well respected and better armed state. Then funnel weapons into the ogaden region and let them decide their own fate. For now a union is off the table but a wealthy Somalia should always aspire to free our brothers from their government if Ethiopia refuses their right to self determination.

We will be the richest in the horn of africa soon. We just have to play our cards right and learn from history. The cadaan will always favour our neighbours over us, but they cannot save ethiopia from collapsing from within. They can either cling onto the hot coals that are the ogaden region and other regions that want to secede or let go and have easier lives.
