It’s more the other way around. Men wanting women to split bills 50/50 and work full time while these women also do majority/all of the household work and childcare because “she’s a woman, that’s her job”. I see that arrangement a LOT and it’s disgusting.

That being said, it is not feminism for Xalimos to expect Faaraxs to help out domestically. At the end of the day, no one is asking us to pick up most of the slack if the wife is mostly at home. Moreover, women are Masha Allah more giving generally, even in non-Muslim households they are more sacrificial when it comes to domestic chores, dealing with bills etc. Some empathy and assistance does not hurt. If it takes 2 incomes to raise a family in the West for most, then it surely requires traditional gender roles to be revised in light of the extenuating circumstances forced upon families in the West.
You either work as a team or sink into a toxic marriage followed by divorce.
