No way are they making another country landlocked. At least they gave them the bare minimum to not be landlocked. Its a win, just not a perfect victory.

Doesn't matter. You are right but emotions don't change anything. Somalia came and said there is no border, you make a border. Therefore giving a vast majority of the disputed waters to Somalia is a win - win. Kenya tried grabing a large cake and got a small slice. They also win by not being landlocked before 200nm. But since both claim the whole shelf, once it gets to 330nm kenya is locked.

the problem is Kenya wouldn’t be able to access the high seas without crossing foreign waters so they’re ‘landlocked’ if those foreign nations refuse to let them cross for whatever reason.
