I am from Chicago myself. Trump and his administration are trying to place this label that Chicago is some crime ridden war zone, but in reality we were doing fine . Now we have ICE wrecking havoc all over our city targeting anyone. Ordinary citizens, undocumented people living an honest life, politicians, news reporters, children, students on F-1 visa.... Naturally we are all going to be very angry, citizens and undocumented alike. Trump never gave a shit about us, but because we are a sanctuary city that just so happens to be very blue with big immigrant population, he wants to hit us hard.

Chicago historically and currently is a city filled with hard working immigrant communities, massive minority population. Legit nobody is letting this slide, everyone is recording what ICE does, cars en masse will honk their cars while yelling "La Migra" to let everyone around know ICE is here... A lot of folks themselves legit block ICE vehicles with their own cars while they detain people. Don't matter if it's up north, out west, down south, even the suburbs like Broadview, daily demonstrations. Shit u even know its bad when upper middle-class white people that aren't even lefties hate ICE too

They said for Operation Midway Blitz, they would be "getting z worst of z worst criminal illegal aliens", while in reality, they hide outside schools and churches and courthouses Targeting tamale vendors instead of actual criminals.
