istuunka is done on nawriish and dabshid is just another name for it and it isn‘t an Islamic holiday at all, in fact they probably predate it.

Dabshiid is the same exact thing as what I said it has different names

Having a few celebrations would be a good thing to unite people. I'm not a scholar, but it's not haram to have a yearly event if done right. I think that's most people's concern. Something like Halloween would be good. Without the religious connotations, it's a nice event for children to partake in and build community.
