“Isis is an ancient Egyptian goddess of the moon, fertility, healing and magic. She is known as the essence of femininity and is exalted in her role as mother and wife. The regal name Isis also means “woman of the throne,” and thousands of women and girls in Egypt and around the world claim this name as their own.”
I got a joke for ya.waryaa isdajiam nin not naag
I’ve anyways been interested in the ancient Egyptians, and the connection to Somalis and Somalia. I’ve always loved the meaning and power of the name Isis. However, in 2014 the terrorists high jacked this beautiful name. Even so I’m still in love with it and considering calling my daughter this name. Even as a teen I anyways loved this name. I’m bummed out about it but I’m not going to let them high Jack the name. It’s regal and feminine and powerful.
Do you think it’s going to cause issues?
Naming your kid after a polytheistic diety is awkward if you're a Muslim, don't you think?
But for real, there are people who call their names as ISIS

I am really bummed out on its current association. How can such an ancient name be erased like that. Can it be revived? Will
