An Arab.
I am a qualified stonemason. Alhamdulillah, I have two jobs, am a plant operator for a company that produces sailing canoes, I work for them Monday to Thursday. And on my days off, on Fridays and Saturday mornings, i work as a private stonemason. I mostly make special concrete slabs for peoples gardens and front yards.
Today, I was doing some work for this Bengali family in Surrey. It was a simple five hour job. As I was packing up my gear leave, they sort of insisted, I stay for dinner. So i stayed, didn't want to seem rude, and they were nice family.
As we were eating, they tell me all about their origin, and history and so on. Then the old man asks, where I originate from?
I wanted to let them work it out for themselves, and guess where I was from. To my surprise, they never once said Somalia. They just kept saying Arab and North African countries.
Then I told them, I'm Somali. They were soo shocked, I was shocked myself. I told them, how could they not know? They simply said, I look Arab, and that's what they thought I was. Then, I explained to them, that we are our own race, and not Arab or mixed.
Looks like we actually are Banu Quraish......on outward appearance.
Eat and drink up, Saxib'yall.
