I think discrimination towards bantus overplayed

Im not denying that they experience discrimination but honestly the extent is over-exaggerated imo. When I lived in xamar I always saw bantu and Somali kids playing side by side and I saw bantu people everywhere and people were not even looking twice at them. Now they definately experience racism but I think more so when it comes to things like marriage etc. But I remember reading somewhere that bantus cannot even walk down the street without being spat at and honestly thats so ridiculously untrue
Also the case of the bantu man being burned alive, it sparked outrage and 99% Somalis were against it. It also went viral because its something that rarely/never happens, bantus are not being killed for being bantu in Somalia.
And the mp talking about being disrespected and mistaken for Ugandan at the airport, if thats his biggest complaint I doubt he experiences much discrimination in Somalia.
Im not downplaying their struggle but alot of sjw Somalis love to act like bantus are living in hell solely due to being bantu but ignore discrimination towards madhiban which is probably just as bad/even worse.

In Puntland I have never seen ethnic Somalis socialize with Somali Bantus. They live very segregated lives. They only use Bantus for the dirty work, but don't want them for anything else.

But do Somalis go out of their way to abuse/discriminate them?
In Xamar you will see Somalis and bantus especially the kids socialising normally.

They ignore them, secretly think they are subhuman etc. Much worse than outright attacking them.

That whole media circus had George Soros written all over it. Pathetic Somali news outlets didn't even bother to check the burnt guy's abtirsi before chimping out like a gang of white liberals. Worst of them was Farmajo who endorsed the illegal marriage by gifting the couple a hotel stay to conceive langaab children while the burnt uncle's family starves.

They don’t have political power, otracised, and seen as low class.

What do you think

:comeon:

Edit:

How are ethnic Somali (madiban) treated worst then Bantu? They can literally blend in

Im not doubting that but the same can be said for many groups in Somalia such as Benadiris and certain qabiils
But all anti-discrimination talk is focused on Bantus
BTW keep in mind Somalia just came out of a civil war and is still one of the poorest countries in Africa and even most ethnic Somalis are living in hell let alone Somali bantus
When Somalia begins to recover, then we will see a focus on equality and such

Everybody in Somalia knows each others qabiil, trust me

@shabellegal @Apollo
It's also exaggerated towards the madhiban community. The only time they are discriminated is during a marriage, other than that you would see a Somali guy and a madhiban eat/work/hangout but once it's marriage they are against.
Somalis always want to assume the worst of other Somalis thats why the act like Somalia is the most racist country on Earth.

In Xamar they are well integrated to society . Idk about other parts of somalia but when I was there they weren't discriminated.
