I sympathize with the Kurds a lot and think Turks should befriend them

use Turkish Kurds to opening business and trade in Greece and Westren Europe with their familial ties as Kurds are J2 R1b,

use Eastern Kurds to fight encroachment in Shia Iran in Iran Iraq Syria etc

Economics and defense but sadly ethnonatinalism is making them fight their Muslim brothers when they can be together w one cause

Kurds are muslims Turks are muslims Arabs are Muslims, from a Muslim stand point we should be neutral. From a somali stand point we should side with the turks because they have been good partners and brothers since the Ahmed gurey wars against the xabashi. Without their modern weapons we would be speaking Portuguese like the Mozambique. Turks have always been ahead of the other Muslims unlike the Arabs who are very close to us geographically and have destructions politics against Somalis. Strong turkey 🇹🇷 is in our benefits bc we get that big brother help from them. Every nation has a big brother type of help. Good luck with the Kurds I can’t imagine living in the Middle East.

Turks treat Turkey as a solitary stand alone state but it always will be a collaborative project and that’s how Israel will create its down fall, death by a thousand cuts

I like Kurds. But their situation is not like ours. Turks and Iranians should treat Kurds better and that's the best you can hope for. Potentially they can vie for more autonomy within those countries as a state within a country and that's about it (like the Iraqi region). Carving out land across the borders of several countries in that region is inviting problems no one wants which only bad actors exploit, needless to say, Kurds will not benefit if you weigh against the heavy costs. Empathy, sympathy, and whatever other concepts for feelings are good with wisdom, without the latter, we can cause bigger problems for the people we care about.

Kurds are the offspring of the largest Muslim army to have liberated Masjid al Aqsa from the Crusaders, under the aegis of Salah al Diin al Ayub, a son of Kurdistan. For those of you unfamiliar with his banishing of the Crusaders from the Muslim world, his story was partially captured, if from a European perspective, in the Kingdom of Heaven movie by Ridley Scott. The main reason that Kurdish nation had been divided into, and annaxed to 5 nations including Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran was to prevent their rise again.

Postscript:
Historically, they are less fortunate, if unsimilar to the Somalis, for Somalis at least have got the Federal republic of Somalia, a sovereign nation, whereas untill recently, post the disintegration of Iraq, there was not a Kurdistan of their own. Thankfully, there is one now, and it is economically booming, and the only stable, and growing region of Iraq.
