I switched from one piece anime to manga

One Piece's anime is solid up until the timeskip. After that there are lots of ups and downs in animation and art quality and the pacing gets rather off. They also start straight up changing events in the Manga. For example, in the manga a character I won't name basically one-shots Luffy with zero effort but in the anime they treat it like a long clash that took said character effort. You can tell they do this just to fill in time.

That makes it worse because you can't skip it lol, it forces you to sit through it, the pacing/filler is the number one reason I can't watch one piece tbh.

I mean you can skip it, it’s not canon, but I mean the filler is entertaining and unless you’re checking a filler list you won’t know when you enter a filler arc.

But skipping filler won’t affect your enjoyment or understanding of the show.

As for the pacing, I understand. That’s why I switched to manga myself.

Only anime i ever rewatched after i completed, and in the hundreds of thousands of anime i watched i very very very rarely rewatched anything, not to mention OP i rewatched like 500 episodes(keep in mind i caught up to one piece when the timeskip episodes were just being released) and then caught up again. Best fillers in the anime industry are in one piece, i dont want to hate on the manga but the anime has a special place in my heart.
