Wrong analogy. Would you like pain all over, or just on one side.Oromo by nature are expansive a oromo nation will just be war hungry for absolutely no reason. You would be swapping an annoying general pain in your side to a more concentrated pain in your side. All the cities that are about to be taken over would need to be returned to its rightful owners.

But this cycle will not continue forever.Your all very politically naive and have no idea how the ethnic politics of Ethiopia work if you think any of the major ethnicities, other than Somalis, are genuinely secessionist.
All of the other major ethnicities, whether Oromo, Amhara, or Tigrayan, ultimately aim to ensure that their people are the ones ruling Ethiopia. When each group gains power, they become Ethiopian nationalists, proudly reping the flag and governing in what they perceive as Ethiopia's best interests. Why? Because once they're in power, Ethiopia becomes their nation; they're the face of it and view it similarly to how Somalis view Somalia. However, when they lose power, they complain about regional oppression, feign secessionism, and rep their ethnic region flags. Essentially, they'll throw a temper tantrum like we saw with the Tigrayans do when the Oromos came into power.
This is how Ethiopia works; believing otherwise is wishful thinking. At the end of the day only Somalis have a reasonable case for successionism because they have a country next door that bears their ethnic name, that has access to the sea, with an already established UN membership and government. The other ethnic groups however, are landlocked and would have to fight for independence and build their new countries from scratch alone. They would risk falling under the influence of larger neighboring countries like Somalia, Sudan, or Kenya. They're aware of the geopolitical drawbacks of seceding and therefore don't seriously consider it.

Don't worry, I know these aspect very well but this is not rhythm that can be kept sustainably. Thats why everyone knows Ethiopia as a ticking time bomb. Its going to have to fail at one point, to the point where secessionism is a real possibility.Your all very politically naive and have no idea how the ethnic politics of Ethiopia work if you think any of the major ethnicities, other than Somalis, are genuinely secessionist.

You're not thinking strategically, when ethiopia and libya were funding rebel groups in 1980s, do you really think they had an intention to 'help'. Sure they helped SOME people out, but them helping that group went in their favour because as you can see somalias been a failed state for some time now.I don’t care if they want to rule or separate or they’re under the boot from another tribe. Not my problem and i don’t care and somalis should stop trying to help other people who’ll bite the hand that’ll feed them
